Resistance Collective — Institutional Critique & Knowledge Archive

A long-form archival and programming platform for a curatorial collective working at the intersection of institutional critique, performance, and knowledge production. The site documents a decade of conference-based artistic practice, organises monographic publications, and hosts a bilingual critical archive. Built with a post-Duchampian editorial logic — clean, austere, and rigorous. Designed to outlast trends and operate on a 10-year hosting horizon.

A rigorous process.
A long-term partnership.

We don't deliver and disappear. We build platforms designed to evolve alongside the artists and institutions we work with.

Step 01
Discovery
We learn your practice, audience, and ambitions. We audit existing digital presence and map out the full scope of what the platform needs to do.
Step 02
Architecture & Design
We design the information architecture, visual identity system, and user experience — grounded in the specific vocabulary of your cultural practice.
Step 03
Build & Deploy
We develop, test, and deploy the platform — managing DNS, SSL, hosting, and domain configuration for a seamless, secure launch.
Step 04
Sustain & Grow
We remain your technical partner — handling updates, renewals, content migrations, and platform expansions as your practice evolves.

A studio at the intersection of culture and technology

B&BY is a Montreal-based digital platform studio founded to serve one specific need: giving artists and cultural organisations the same quality of digital infrastructure that enterprise clients take for granted.

We believe great cultural work deserves great digital presence. Too often, artists and institutions settle for generic templates or platforms that don't reflect the depth of their practice. B&BY was created to close that gap — offering enterprise-grade strategy, design, and development specifically calibrated to the cultural sector.

Our clients range from solo artists who need a durable professional platform to biennale production offices running open calls, jury portals, and international press accreditation. We also work with residency networks, curatorial collectives, and artist-run centres operating across multiple countries and languages.

We manage full technical infrastructure: domain registration, DNS configuration, SSL certificates, hosting environments, and ongoing maintenance. Every platform we build is treated as a long-term asset — with a hosting and support horizon measured in years, not months.

Let's build something that lasts.

Whether you're a solo artist needing a first professional platform, a biennale office managing open calls and jury workflows, or a residency network operating across countries — we'd like to hear from you.

We take on a small number of new clients each year to ensure the quality and continuity of our partnerships.
